Founder, Monique Jhanielle, began her journey by spray painting used furniture in her yard and exploring life through a film camera. Her creative path has always been fueled by curiosity, reflection, and a desire to make things with purpose. After studying Interior Decorating at Humber College and working at Shopify providing industry-leading customer support, Monique launched Studio Monijah to combine her love for art, design, and storytelling.

Studio Monijah is a space for creation, learning, and growth. Through her work, Monique invites others to join her on this unfolding growth journey—sharing the process, the challenges, and the beauty of making things with intention.
